Job summary

Camco Manufacturing in Greensboro, NC seeks a D365 Business Analyst - Operations to bridge business needs with IT and optimize finance, manufacturing, and logistics workflows using D365 F&O.

You will gather requirements, configure modules, lead testing, and drive process improvements. The role requires strong communication, documentation, and project management skills within a manufacturing context.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a Business Analyst or similar role in manufacturing, supply chain, or finance systems.
• Experience configuring D365 F&O modules including manufacturing, procurement and warehouse management.
• Ability to write functional specs, document processes, and lead UAT and release activities.
• Strong ability to translate business needs into functional requirements and user stories.

Responsibilities

Job Title: D365 Business Analyst - Operations

Overview:

The D365 Business Analyst serves as the primary link between business stakeholders and IT, ensuring Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) effectively supports manufacturing, supply chain, warehouse, and finance processes. This role is responsible for gathering business requirements, configuring D365 modules, leading testing and user acceptance activities, and driving system enhancements that improve efficiency, automation, and operational performance.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the functional owner and go-to expert for D365 F&O Finance modules
• Lead requirements workshops with business stakeholders, translating business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Configure D365 modules, develop test scripts, coordinate UAT, and validate enhancements and releases
• Identify and recommend automation opportunities and process improvements that increase accuracy, efficiency, and compliance
• Manage enhancement projects end to end, including scope, testing, deployment, and ongoing support, while partnering with cross-functional teams and third-party vendors to resolve issues

Qualifications:

• 5+ years as a Business Analyst, Functional Consultant, Solutions Architect, or similar role supporting manufacturing, supply chain, and finance related solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (or AX), including configuration of core manufacturing, supply chain, and warehouse management modules
• Strong working knowledge of manufacturing and supply chain processes such as production planning, MRP, procurement, product development, and warehouse management
• Proven experience writing functional specifications, documenting process flows, and leading UAT and release activities
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical business stakeholders and manage competing priorities across business units
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Engineering, Finance, Information Systems, or related field; equivalent experience considered
