Job summary

Texas Sports Academy is seeking a D1 Softball Youth Mentor to guide student-athletes through academic hours and sport-specific mentorship. This role is conducted remotely from the United States, pairing video sessions with structured academic support and high-level athletic coaching derived from Division I experience.

You will build meaningful relationships, emphasize focus and effort, and communicate progress to parents and staff, while helping students balance schoolwork with elite sport

Qualifications

• Division I softball background is required and central to mentorship.
• Experience working with kids in a mentoring, tutoring, or coaching role is needed.
• Clear, steady communication during video sessions is essential.
• Must be reliable, organized, and able to manage schedules and updates.

Responsibilities

• Conduct one-on-one video mentoring with student-athletes.
• Discuss mental game, training, and recruiting realities with athletes.
• Build trust and provide honest feedback to students and parents.
• Help students navigate the learning platform and manage study time.
• Provide updates to parents and staff about student progress.
• Maintain standards of effort, focus, and conduct during sessions.
