Job summary

Randstad is seeking a stand-up forklift operator in Joplin, MO, for a long-term, growth-focused opportunity. The role entails unloading materials from inbound vehicles and loading them to designated locations, with forklift and high-lift operation across production and warehouse areas.

You will prepare and load product for outbound shipments, store raw materials, and inspect inbound ingredients and packaging. Continuous improvement initiatives are encouraged.

• Successful performance on a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) Test.

Responsibilities

• As a stand up forklift operator you will be responsible for unloading materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and loading them onto assigned locations. Duties include locating and moving products on pallets or creating pallets for storage or shipment. You may also identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies.
• Forklift and high lift equipment operation within production and warehouse operations
• Selecting, preparing, and loading product for outbound shipment per customer specifications
• Responsible for the storage of raw material, ingredients or finished product
• Receiving, unloading, and inspecting inbound ingredients/packaging materials
• Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives to increase platform performance

Qualifications

Dress Code

Shirts or t-shirts must have sleeves and be without any holes or rips. Pants without any holes or rips. No profane or suggestive texts and images. Closed/protective toe and non slip footwear only.
