Job summary

Chobani is seeking a Case Packer Operator to monitor the case packer and related equipment in our Twin Falls facility. You will ensure cups are correctly packed into cases, verify lids, monitor codes, and assist with jams and startup procedures.

Responsibilities include documenting downtime and production records, performing light preventive maintenance, refilling glue, and following GMPs and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• 0-3 months in a production environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Basic math skills required.
• Good communications skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Troubleshooting and problem solving ability.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs and be on feet for long periods.
• GMPs and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Monitor automatic packing of cups into cases in case packer, clear jams and restart machine as needed.
• Verify foil lids are sealed and correct cup codes every 4 minutes.
• Complete downtime and work orders documentation accurately.
• Refill glue pellets in pot.
• Identify and eliminate non-conforming product.
• Start, unjam and adjust case stacker, box closer, box drop, palletizer and conveyor.
• Perform preventive maintenance: belts, sensors, air filters, oil and grease machines.
• Remove empty boxes and reload into case packer.
• Manage pallet production paperwork and palletizer faults.
• Follow safety procedures and GMPs.
• Other duties as assigned.
