Job summary

MAHLE in Olive Branch, Mississippi is seeking an assembler to join the team for assembling and packaging bulk components to deliver quality products for the global aftermarket. The role emphasizes verifying components to shop orders, meeting daily quality/production standards, and maintaining a clean, safe work area.

• Properly verify components to shop order prior to assembly.
• Meet or exceed quality and production standards on a daily basis.

• Work with and display a team concept, either individually or as a team.
• Perform HU retrieval, order set-up, pre-kitting (ILS), kitting, bagging, printing and/or labeling, hand packing, catching F/G units, board line component dropping, and arranging bearing sets as part of assembly processes.

Summary

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Properly verify components to shop order prior to assembly.
• Meet or exceed quality and production standards on a daily basis.
• Proper handling of product to prevent damage.
• Report all equipment maintenance problems daily.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Work with and always display a team concept approach, working individually, or as a team.
• HU retrieval, Order set-up, Pre-kitting (ILS), Kitting, bagging, printing and/or labelling, hand packing, “catching” F/G units, board line component “dropping”, and arranging bearing sets are all processes within the department required to perform the assembly job functions.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE

Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form. Good analytical, conceptual, and organizational skills.
