Job summary

San Diego State University invites applications for an Associate or Full Professor in Dissemination and Implementation (D&I) Science. The successful candidate will develop an externally funded program, collaborate across disciplines, and contribute to the SDSU HealthLINK Center.

The position emphasizes teaching and mentoring at undergraduate and graduate levels, building community partnerships, and advancing health equity through evidence-based practices.

Qualifications

• Ph.D., M.D., or other terminal degree in a relevant discipline.
• Evidence of original D&I research and funded scholarship.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and grow an independent program.
• Experience partnering with diverse communities and health systems.
• Proven teaching and mentorship at undergraduate and graduate levels.

Responsibilities

• Develop and sustain a rigorous externally funded D&I research program.
• Teach at undergraduate and/or graduate levels with effectiveness.
• Mentor early career faculty, graduate and undergraduate students, and collaborators.
• Lead initiatives at department, college, university, medical center, or professional organizations.
