Job summary

Pride Health is hiring a Cytotechnologist for a 3+ month assignment at a medical facility in Indianapolis, IN. The role offers a contract-to-hire opportunity and a pay rate of $45-$55 per hour on W2. Shift is Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pm.

Responsibilities include examining slides, assisting ROSE during procedures, documenting findings, and ensuring specimen integrity while adhering to HIPAA and all regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience with FNA adequacy procedures required.
• Liquid-based cytology training/certification (ThinPrep preferred).
• Meet ASC prerequisites for Cytotechnologist.

Responsibilities

• Examine gynecologic and non-gynecologic slides under a microscope to identify infections, abnormal cells, and signs of disease.
• Assist clinicians with Rapid On-Site Evaluations (ROSE) during diagnostic procedures.
• Accurately document slides screenings and maintain required CLIA records.
• Ensure proper specimen identification and maintains specimen integrity throughout testing.
• Protect patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines.
• Follow all laboratory policies and comply with CLIA, CAP, CMS, and other regulatory requirements.
• Participate in annual proficiency testing and ongoing quality assurance programs.
