Job summary

The University at Buffalo is seeking an Academic Scholar for Clinical Assistant or Associate Professor to join the Department of Pathology and Anatomical Sciences as a Cytopathologist. You will perform general and cytopathology sign-out, participate in autopsy pathology and contribute to multidisciplinary tumor boards, residency teaching, and medical student instruction.

Candidates must have an MD or DO, fellowship in Cytopathology, and cytopathology board eligibility or certification; AP/CP

Qualifications

• MD or DO or equivalent is required.
• Fellowship training in Cytopathology is required.
• Board eligibility or certification in Cytopathology is required.

Responsibilities

• General and cytopathology sign out.
• Autopsy pathology.
• Select areas of Laboratory Medicine.
• Attend and participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards.
• Residency teaching and oversight.
• Medical and Dental undergraduate teaching.
