Labcorp is seeking a Cytogenetics Technologist to join our remote team. The role focuses on cytogenetic analysis, maintaining quality and reliability while working from a private HIPAA-compliant home office. Work schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM MT.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in a Chemical or Biological science, 5+ years in cytogenetics, and ASCP CG certification. Preferred CLSp-CG. Remote work in a multi-site environment is expected; must pass a color vision test.

• Monitor, operate and troubleshoot instrumentation to ensure proper functionality.

• Prepare, test and evaluate new reagents or controls.
• Report accurate and timely test results in order to deliver quality patient care.
• Perform and document preventive maintenance and quality control procedures.

Labcorp is seeking a Cytogenetics Technologist to join our team Remotely.

Job Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology
• 5 years or more experience in Cytogenetics analysis
• ASCP certification in Cytogenetics (ASCP CG)

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified by the National Credentialing Agency (NCA) in Cytogenetics (CLSp-CG)

Additional Job Standards

• Previous experience with cytogenetic analysis of metaphase spreads via computerized images
• Computer skills; be able to effectively use the Internet, email, text messaging, chat applications, and familiarity with Microsoft Office.
• Effective communication skills (oral, written, presentation), is an active listener, and effectively provides balanced feedback
• Strong patient focus
• Effectively manages own time, conflicting priorities, self, stress, and professional development
• Self-motivated and self-starter with ability to work independently with limited supervision
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test

Work From Home Requirements

• Private, HIPAA‑compliant workspace
• Agree to include home address in case reporting (CMS requirement)
• Internet 100 Mbps minimum
• Ability to work remotely in a fast‑paced, multi‑site environment

Pay Range: $27.00 - $37.00 per hour

All job offers will bebased on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicabledegrees/certifications,as well as internal equity and market data.
