Labcorp is seeking a remote Cytogenetics (FISH) Technologist to join our Phoenix-based team. The role focuses on onscreen FISH analysis using Metasystems Neon, with a Monday–Friday schedule 8:00 am–4:30 pm MST.

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a chemical or biological science, at least 1 year of FISH experience, and ASCP Cytogenetics (CG) certification. Preference for Labcorp experience and 5+ years in FISH.

The position will focus primarily on onscreen FISH analysis utilizing Metasystems Neon. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm MST

Responsibilities

• Perform FISH analysis on all specimen types
• Review test requisitions to gather pertinent details for analysis
• Summarize test results utilizing ISCN nomenclature
• Distinguish between normal and abnormal test results
• Perform and evaluate troubleshooting, document all corrective actions as needed
• Comply with company policies and procedures

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology
• 1 year or more experience in FISH analysis
• ASCP certification in Cytogenetics (ASCP CG)

Preferred Qualifications

• Current or Prior Labcorp experience
• 5 years or more experience in FISH analysis

Additional Job Standards

• Previous experience with cytogenetic analysis of metaphase spreads via computerized images
• Computer skills; be able to effectively use the Internet, email, text messaging, chat applications, and familiarity with Microsoft Office.
• Effective communication skills (oral, written, presentation), is an active listener, and effectively provides balanced feedback
• Strong patient focus
• Effectively manages own time, conflicting priorities, self, stress, and professional development
• Self-motivated and self-starter with ability to work independently with limited supervision
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test

Work From Home Requirements

• Private, HIPAA‑compliant workspace
• Agree to include home address in case reporting (CMS requirement)
• Internet 100 Mbps minimum
• Ability to work remotely in a fast‑paced, multi‑site environment

Pay Range

$27 - $40/hour
