Job summary

Sonic Healthcare USA is seeking a laboratory professional to join our clinical team in Nashville. The role involves performing moderate to high complexity testing to support patient care and reporting results accurately.

The candidate will analyze results, recognize when corrective action is needed, and uphold safety and quality controls in a fast-paced lab environment. A BS in Medical Technology or related science with 1 year of training is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology or related science with 1 year of Medical Technology training
• 1 year of laboratory training or experience performing high complexity testing
• ASCP certification or equivalent
• Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills
• Ability to operate general laboratory equipment (analyzers, centrifuges, microscopes, pipettes, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Perform moderate and high complexity testing as part of patient care
• Analyze, review, and report testing results
• Recognize when corrective action is needed and implement solutions
• Work in a fast-paced lab with biological and chemical hazards
• Champion safety, compliance and quality control
