Job summary

NNavy Region Southeast CYP is seeking a Part-Time Food Service Worker to perform a variety of food preparation and service tasks in a Child Development Center, with potential duties for the SAC program. You will assist in preparing meals, maintaining clean service areas, and ensuring compliance with CACFP and sanitation standards.

This role emphasizes safety, proper dishwashing, and accurate food handling in a federal child care setting.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of food handling techniques and hygiene.
• Ability to measure ingredients and understand recipes.
• Knowledge of basic arithmetic for servings.
• Understanding of diet principles and sanitation.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation and packaging for serving.
