Job summary

Western International Gas & Cylinders, Inc. is seeking a Production Technician to safely handle customer cylinders in compliance with standard operating procedures.

The position reports to the Area Lead and Plant/Department Manager, with training provided to ensure full understanding of duties and department responsibilities. The role requires 0–1 year of work experience, a High School Diploma or GED, and the ability to read, write and perform basic math.

JOB SUMMARY - Rate $22.00- $24.00 per hour
The Production Technician is responsible forsafely handling customer’s cylinders in compliance with standard operatingprocedures. This position reports directly to the Area Lead andPlant/Department Manager. Training is provided to ensure complete understandingof position and department responsibilities.


Essential Functions
Understands hazards of various gases and sizeand contents of cylinders.
Properly perform inspections of cylinders.
Properly and safely handle cylinders.
