Job summary

Airgas, an Air Liquide company, is seeking a Cylinder Filler II in Henderson, CO to fill high‑pressure cylinders following the compression temperature/pressure method. You will operate equipment, perform inspections, maintain records, and support loading, unloading, and inventory as part of a safety‑conscious team.

The role requires the ability to perform very heavy work (lifting 25–75 lbs regularly), forklift certification, and strong reading/comprehension skills.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have valid employment authorization in the U.S. and must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• This position is not open for non-immigrant visa sponsorship.
• Ability to perform very heavy work - routinely lifts 25 - 75 lbs., and occasionally lifts 76 to greater than 100 lbs. with the aid of a lifting device.
• Ability to read and comprehend all written and computer generated documentation.
• The ability to operate forklift and become forklift certified.

• Inspect and service pumping apparatus and gauges to ensure reliable operation.
• Fill cylinders to target pressure or weight and maintain accurate filling records.
• Assist with loading/unloading trucks and support inventory and housekeeping.

The hourly base pay range for this position in Colorado is $24.50 - $25.00. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Duties

• As a Cylinder Filler, you will apply the compression temperature/pressure method to fill various high-pressure cylinders, including Industrial, Medical, and mixed gases.
• You will be filling high-pressure cylinders (Industrial, Medical, and Mixes) following the compression temperature/pressure method.
• Operate and safely maintain equipment for pumping or repackaging gases into cylinders.
• Perform all required pre-fill and post-fill inspections and verify safety through tests before cylinders are released.
• Attends to the condition of cylinders—ensuring those requiring maintenance or repair are set aside for care until they are ready for use.
• Regularly inspect and maintain pumping apparatus and associated pressure gauges and monitoring devices to ensure reliable operation.
• Fill cylinders or containers to the target pressure or weight, whichever is appropriate.
• Ensure cylinder filling records are accurately maintained and that you remain guided by established procedures in order to meet the standards of local, state, and federal regulations.
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks and/or trailers as a valued part of the logistics flow.
• Support the team with inventory and general housekeeping, and provide support to customers when necessary.
