Job summary

Paraco Gas Corporation is hiring a Propane Cylinder Delivery Driver. You will deliver propane cylinders to residential and commercial customers while maintaining exemplary customer service. Expect outdoor work in all weather and adherence to DOT safety standards.

We value punctuality, a clean driving record, and the ability to handle physical tasks. The role includes daily inspections, training, and safety compliance as part of a family-owned company with a long-standing community presence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 1+ years of Class A or B CDL experience.
• Valid CDL license with Hazardous Materials (H) and Tank Vehicle (N) endorsements or (X) combination; no Air Brakes (L) or (Z) restriction.
• Current DOT Medical Card.
• Clean driving record in compliance with DOT requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver daily safe, punctual bulk and cylinder deliveries.
• Complete required industry compliance and company training.
• Provide courteous, efficient customer service.
• Perform daily vehicle and trailer inspections.
• Work outdoors in all weather and driving conditions.
• Ability to lift and carry over 55 pounds and bend, reach, rotate as needed.

Our Propane-Cylinder Delivery Driver is responsible for delivering various types of propane cylinders to both residential and commercial customers. You will also provide outstanding customer service and adhere to industry safety standards.

Key responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to:

• Provide daily safe, punctual, consistent, and reliable bulk and cylinder deliveries daily
• Participate in and complete all required industry compliance and company training
• Provide consistent, courteous, and efficient customer service
• Perform daily vehicle and trailer inspections
• You will be working outdoors in all weather and driving conditions .
• Ability to lift and carry over 55 pounds regularly throughout the day and bend, climb, reach, & rotate as needed

Required Skills

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• 1+ years of Class A or B CDL experience
• Valid CDL license with Hazardous Materials (H) and Tank Vehicle (N) endorsements or (X) combination. The license may not contain any Air Brakes (L) or (Z) Restriction(s)
• Current DOT Medical Card
• Clean and safe driving record in full compliance with all DOT licensing requirements

Preferred Skills

• Crane experience.
• Experience with hand tools, power tools, and test equipment
• Basic troubleshooting, problem-solving, and diagnost i c skills
• Previous Bobtail delivery of propane, fuel oil, or other hazardous materials
• Being a strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills is essential
• Detailed-oriented self-starter with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
