Job summary

Danfoss Power Solutions in Jackson, MI is seeking a Hydraulic and Pneumatic Cylinder Assembler/Tester/Painter on 1st shift (6:45 am to 3:15 pm). You will gather, clean and assemble cylinder components, perform final assembly, and conduct functional tests to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals.

The role requires reading blueprints, following routings and work instructions, and painting cylinders. You will also support the department by covering absences and assisting with stockroom

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum one year of manufacturing experience.
Able to read blueprints and SOPs.
Capable of following router process sheets and paint instructions.
US person eligible to work, ITAR restrictions apply.

Responsibilities

Gather, clean and assemble cylinder components and bearings for final assembly.
Complete final assembly of cylinders using drawings and work instructions.
Perform hydraulic and pneumatic tests; document results.
Inspect products for quality and fit before painting and shipping.
Paint cylinders and route through shipping; ensure finish and parts are complete.
Support Assembly Dept. with coverage during absences and assist with stockroom tasks.
