Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a Cycle Counter to join our on-site inventory team. You will support the preparation and processing of cycle counts, verify material locations, and audit processes to ensure data integrity, all in alignment with KPI requirements.

This critical role helps maintain accurate inventory records and smooth warehouse operations. We value analytical thinking, clear written and spoken communication, and the ability to multitask with precision.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years’ experience in inventory, distribution and/or operations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work independently with precise detail.

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation of and processing cycle counts as directed in accordance with KPI requirements.
• Recommend ways to improve inventory control function.
• Audit applications and processes to ensure data integrity.
• Analyze existing business processes and logic that impact inventory through observation and user interaction.
• Understand material processes and identify risks with solutions.
• Ability to multitask and follow up reporting with limited supervision.
• Meet performance expectations in the IC department's workflow.
• Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Prior experience in Inventory Control, Quality, or Audit Service is beneficial.
• Capable of performing multiple counts per day.

What’s in it for you:

The Cycle Counter will be an essential position to execute all inventory control functions by understanding locations for all materials, performing cycle counting functions as directed by Inventory Analyst in accordance with the requirements of Pueblo to enable control of materials and locations.

What you will do:

• Support the preparation of and processing cycle counts as directed in accordance with KPI requirements.
• Recommend ways to improve inventory control function.
• Audit applications and processes to ensure data integrity.
• Analyze existing business processes and logic that impact inventory throughout the company through personal observation and user interaction.
• Understand material processes during performance of duties and identify risks and offer solutions.
• Ability to multitask and work independently with precise detail and follow-up reporting.
• Meet performance expectations with limited supervision in accordance of standard work and in line with the unique dynamic of the IC department.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Prior experience in Inventory Control, Quality, or Audit Service would be beneficial although not required.
• Ability to perform multiple counts per day in line with requirements for inventory control.
