Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. in Mission, TX is seeking a Cycle Counter to join our Mission team. You will perform cycle counts on materials, WIP, finished goods and non-conforming items, while reviewing SAP transactions to resolve discrepancies and prevent production delays.

The role requires a HS Diploma or GED, 1 year of warehouse experience, and basic MS Office skills. Forklift experience and strong math/communication abilities are valued as you support continuous improvement and accurate

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • 1 year warehouse experience preferred.
  • Basic MS Word, Excel, Outlook knowledge.
  • Organized with attention to detail and good problem solving.
  • Experience with cycle counting and inventory movements.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

  • Cycle counts raw materials, WIP, finished goods, consignment and non-conforming materials to maintain accuracy.
  • Review SAP transactions to resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Report shortages to schedule/purchasing to avoid delays and backorders.
  • Perform root cause analysis and reconcile count discrepancies.
  • Create monthly inventory and root cause analysis reports.
  • Assist in physical inventories and dispositioning activities.
