Job summary

Bosch Group in Lincolnton, NC is seeking an Inventory Clerk to count and verify on-hand quantities of raw steel and finished products, ensuring accurate inventories for production and customer needs.

You will cycle count parts in Eisenhower Drive distribution and WIP warehouses, audit warehouse operations for accuracy, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve inventory issues.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Experience with reading blueprints.
• Experience with using measuring equipment such as calipers and micrometers.
• Experience with operating side loaders, man-up, swing reach, overhead hoists & forklifts.
• Experience and certification with using weigh count equipment.
• Knowledge of inventory and manufacturing systems, processes and record keeping.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Data entry skills to manipulate inventory and manufacturing systems, process and record keeping.
• Good planning and organizational skills.
• Experience with operating forklift.

Responsibilities

• Count and verify on-hand inventory quantities.
• Cycle count parts in Eisenhower Drive distribution and WIP warehouses to assure inventory accuracy.
• Audit warehouse operations for accuracy and correctness and recommend corrective action in areas such as part number, part description rotating stock, part location, unmarked parts.
• Participate as a contributing member of cross-functional teams to address and solve inventory accuracy issues.
• Assist in the resolution of inventory inaccuracies to assure inventory levels are accurately reflected to support production and customer needs.

Responsibilities

This position is responsible for counting and verifying on-hand inventory quantities, which include raw steel and unfinished and finished product, to assure that accurate inventories are readily available to meet customer needs.

Cycle count parts in Eisenhower Drive distribution and WIP warehouses to assure inventory accuracy.

Audit warehouse operations for accuracy and correctness and recommend corrective action in the following areas to assure proper part identification and stock rotation:

• Part number
• Part description rotating stock
• Part location
• Unmarked parts

Participate as a contributing member of cross-functional teams to address and solve inventory accuracy issues.

Assist in the resolution of inventory inaccuracies to assure that inventory levels are accurately reflected to support production and customer needs.
