Job summary

Pentair plc in Delavan, WI is seeking a Cycle Counter for 1st shift to support daily inventory counts and accuracy. You will analyze discrepancies, resolve variances, and assist in inventory-related projects in a collaborative manufacturing environment.

The role requires basic ERP knowledge (SAP), MS Office skills, and the ability to operate a forklift or order picker as needed. You will work with supervisors and other teams to improve processes and ensure lean, safe operations.

Qualifications

• Requires High School or GED and proven attention to detail.

• Ability to learn forklift operation and basic inventory software.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily physical inventory counts and work toward a daily requirement.
• Resolve variances between physical and system counts to ensure accuracy.
• Troubleshoot receiving, transaction, BOM, routing, or picking errors; research causes of variances.

Job Description: Cycle Counter 1st Shift At Pentair, you will work alongside passionate problem-solvers who are committed to the future of our planet. We have an opportunity for a Cycle Counter to join our Delavan, WI team.

You will complete cycle counting process, analyze discrepancies to determine problem causes and support inventory management projects.

• Conducts physical inventory counts of product on a daily basis (working toward daily requirement).
• Works to resolve any variances between physical and actual counts.
• Trouble shoots possible receiving, transaction, Bill of material, routing, or picking errors and research ways to eliminate the problems causing variances.
• Resolves negative on hand inventory reports, improper backflush reports, and other various error logs and reconciles them on a daily basis.
• Works with line supervisors, warehouse supervisor, schedulers, buyer & accounts payable to meet Pentair corporate inventory objectives.
• Enters data through the CRT and handheld RF Unit to update the inventory records in the compute Make inventory documents on SAP and adjust/reconcile inventory on SAP
• Completes daily activities timely, legibly and accurately.
• Communicates to the areas or processes that need improvement.
• Follows all 5S practices and supports lean activities, as well as safety regulations policies and procedures.
• Support inventory project work (ie E&O disposition, consolidation, etc.)
• Use fork trucks and order picker to load or unload supermarket locations

Key Qualifications:

• High School/GED
• Skills in Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, SAP
• Ability to learn how to drive a Fork truck, order picker and tugger
• Fact-based problem-solving ability and uses sound judgment

Shift/Hours:

1st Shift: 5:30am - 2:00pm Monday – Friday Occasional mandatory overtime required

Compensation:

The hourly pay for this role is: $18.00/hr. Opportunity for a rate increase after you are proficient in certain skills and have fulfilled training. Actual pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, and experience.
