Job summary

Description

Reliable inventory data is critical to keeping production moving and ensuring materials are available when and where they're needed.

Position Details

Schedule: Monday-Thursday from 4:30 PM-3:00 AM
Shift: 2nd
Overtime: Required as business needs

What You’ll Do

You will support accurate inventory management by executing cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and ensuring inventory systems reflect actual material on hand.

Key Responsibilities
Inventory Accuracy & Cycle Counts
  • Generate daily cycle count lists and ensure counts are completed and documented accurately
  • Verify counts completed by others and correct inventory records as needed
  • Research, identify root causes, and correct discrepancies between system records and physical inventory
  • Maintain accurate inventory documentation to support production and financial accuracy
Systems, Documentation & Equipment Use
  • Use computer systems and ERP software to access inventory data and process paperwork in a timely manner
  • Operate equipment and tools necessary for inventory and material handling, including but not limited to:
    • Forklifts and hand jacks
    • Cranes and loading docks
    • Scales and data collection equipment
    • Tape measures, calculators, radios, and copy machines
  • Accurately document inventory adjustments and material movement
Safety & Operational Support
  • Perform daily equipment inspections, including checking fluid levels and completing required checklists
  • Ensure the safety of employees working near moving vehicles and material handling equipment
  • Perform all tasks in a safe, efficient, timely, accurate, and productive manner according to company policy
Teamwork & Attendance
  • Work and communicate effectively in a team environment
  • Maintain regular, consistent attendance and work scheduled hours
  • Support mandatory overtime as required
  • Follow all company policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support inventory and production operations

Experience & Qualifications

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a manufacturing environment
