Job summary

Peraton seeks a Cyberspace Targeting Analyst to join the USCYBERCOM team at Fort Meade, MD. You will contribute to cyber operations planning, developing plans and orders to achieve mission objectives.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years as an Intel Analyst with cyber/SIGINT focus, and hold TS/SCI with Poly. A high school diploma is required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred. Exceptional analytical, organizational, and written communication skills are essential.

• Develop exercise scenarios and related documentation.
• Support Joint Planning Groups and planning teams; craft CO/IO concepts.
• Coordinate requirements for Combat Mission Teams and others.

Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking an experienced Cyber Operations Future Plans Officer to join the USCYBERCOM team in the Fort Meade, MD area.

Responsibilites:

• Provide input for development of plans, orders and related documents that enable JTF-ARES to conduct Cyber Operations (CO) and Information Operations (IO) to meet approved mission objectives.
• Understand, analyze, and evaluate current/emerging threats within tasked mission areas.
• Monitor and review strategies, doctrine, policies, directives and instructions from higher headquarters and make recommendations to ensure compliance and/or consideration in planning efforts.
• Use JOPP to develop plans and orders through the application of operational art and operational design.
• Provide input to briefings, transitioning concepts to execution, and assisting in the coordination of joint operational planning in support of training, exercises, combat, and contingency plans and operations.
• Develop and integrate cyberspace capabilities into deliberate, contingency, and crisis action plans.
• Provide input to address shortfalls, prioritize and validate requirements, and be prepared to modify development planning efforts based on the changing cyberspace environment.
• Contribute to the development of exercise scenarios, exercise operational plans, and other required documentation to support planning and execution to accomplish exercise training priorities.
• Facilitate/participate in Joint Planning Groups and Operational Planning Teams; craft operational concepts/approaches to plan and deliver CO/IO effects to achieve assigned mission objectives.
• Facilitate command and control, employment, and support requirements for Combat Mission Teams (CMT), Combat Support Teams (CSTs), and other mission-tailored operational elements.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience as an Intel Analyst, with cyber or SIGINT operations focus.
• Minimum of High School Diploma.
• Highly organized, flexible multitasker; strong attention to detail/organization; excellent communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills with demonstrated initiative solving problems in past roles and responsibilities.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Active TS/SCI with Poly security clearance.

Highly Desired Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher desired.
• Prior cyber or CNO planning and operational experience at staff and/or team levels.
• Understanding and prior experience with the JOPP.
• Joint Cyber Analysis Course (JCAC) or other operational/planning cyber-related certification courses.
• Bachelor's degree.

Target Salary Range

$135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
