Qualifications

  • Exposure to DoD/DoW mission practices and regulatory frameworks in real-world settings.
  • Experience creating tactical, operational, and strategic roadmaps to meet mission and security objectives.
  • Ability to work with executive teams (SES/FO/GO) to ensure regulatory compliance.

Your role and responsibilities

As a Security Consultant, you will help Client IT and business executives understand key Security Governance, Risk, and Compliance issues. You will define business drivers and associated Tactical and Strategic roadmaps to achieve business and security objectives.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Conduct Workshops and Assessments: Deliver workshops and assessments to identify key security governance, risk, and compliance issues, exposures, and vulnerabilities for clients.
  • Develop Strategic Roadmaps: Define business drivers and create tactical and strategic roadmaps to help clients achieve their business and security objectives.
  • Demonstrate Compliance Understanding: Show understanding of compliance and regulations such as ISO 27001, SOC2, PCI DSS, and SOX to support client needs.
  • Collaborate with CISO/BISO: Work closely with the CISO/BISO organization to ensure compliance with various regulations.
  • Support Client Compliance: Apply knowledge of auditing and compliance to support clients in meeting regulatory requirements.

Required technical and professional expertise
  • Cyber Mission Planning: Experience supporting the full range of cyber mission planning including Corse of Action Development, the Military Decision Process and mission exaction evaluation such as effects assessments.
  • Understanding of Mission Relevant Regulations: Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements such as DOD/DOW regulations, Intelligence Community Directives Executive Orders to support client needs.
  • Full Spectrum Mission Support Experience: Exposure to the full range of cyber operational missions either with the DoW/DoD, IC or LE Organizations.
  • Strategic Roadmap Development: Experience working with business drivers to create tactical and strategic roadmaps that achieve mission and security objectives.
  • Collaboration with Executive Teams: Exposure to working with executive teams, such as SES/FO/GO organizations, to ensure compliance with various regulations.
  • Certification in Cybersecurity: Possession of DoD 8140/8570 IAM Level II compliant certifications in cybersecurity, such as Security+.
Preferred technical and professional experience
  • DoD/DOW Mission Background: Exposure to DoD/DoW Mission practices and , operational processes and compliance frameworks, with an understanding of how to apply this knowledge to support clients in meeting mission requirements.
  • Strategic Planning: Experience working with mission drivers to create tactical, operational and strategic cyber mission roadmaps that achieve mission and security objectives, with a focus on long-term planning and risk management.
