Job summary

Abacus Technology Corporation seeks a Cyber Defense Analysis Server Solution Analyst to support the C3I&N Directorate at Lackland AFB in a full-time capacity. You will contribute expert guidance to adapt commercial and government off-the-shelf hardware and software from concept to production within the CDA weapon system using Cyber Agile Acquisition processes.

The role requires 5+ years in a DoD engineering environment, ACAT III experience, and a TS/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in an engineering role for a DoD environment.
• Experience in all phases to include Material Solution Analysis, Technology Maturation, Risk Reduction, Engineering and Manufacturing Development, Production and Deployment, Operations and Support.
• Experience in an ACAT Level III environment.
• Knowledge of acquisition and sustainment in systems engineering, server administration, network engineering, firewall/gateway systems, operating systems, and software applications as applied to Cyberspace Defense Analysis (CDA) weapon system or similar data loss prevention system.
• US citizenship and current TS/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

5+ years experience in an engineering role for a DoD environment. Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Additional years of experience may be substituted for degree requirements. Experience in all phases to include Material Solution Analysis, Technology Maturation, Risk Reduction, Engineering and Manufacturing Development, Production and Deployment, Operations and Support. Experience in an ACAT Level III environment. Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of principles, policies, and practices of acquisition and sustainment in the disciplines of systems engineering, server administration, network engineering, firewall and gateway systems, operating systems, and software applications as applied to Cyberspace Defense Analysis (CDA) weapon system or similar data loss prevention system. Knowledge of roles and relationships within the AF Cyber Operations community, the AF Cyber Requirements community, the AF Cyber Test community, and the Cyber Hardware/Software providers in the Cyber Industry (e.g., Fidelis, Solar Winds, F5). Must have the expertise necessary to generate alternatives to enable tradeoffs between the different options based on external constraints involving schedule, cost, and performance. Able to work proactively and effectively communicate orally and in writing to produce quality acquisition and program documentation and associated artifacts (briefings, documents, plans, reports, cost estimates, etc.). Advanced knowledge of the cyber and networking domains to support quick reaction efforts that involve high intensity collaboration between MAJCOM requirements, acquisition IPTs, and the Warfighter. Must be a team player and able to work professionally with all levels of the organization. Must be a US citizen and hold a current Top Secret clearance with SCI access (TS/SCI).
