Job summary

Beyond SOF is seeking a Cyberspace Analyst (CA2) in Linthicum, MD, offering up to $115K depending on education and experience. The role requires a TS/SCI with CI Poly clearance and a high school diploma, with a six-year background in cyberspace analysis.

The candidate will assess cyberspace capabilities and DODIN risks, develop MOE/MOP metrics, and draft technical papers. The position involves collaborating with internal and external partners, producing COAs, and contributing to capability

Qualifications

• Six years of experience required in cyberspace analysis or related field.
• Familiarity with DODIN assets and cyber security practices.
• Ability to develop and automate metrics for MOE/MOP.
• Experience identifying and prioritizing requirements for capability development.
• Ability to draft concept papers and technical white papers.
• Collaboration with internal and external partners for cyber information sharing.

Responsibilities

• Assesses the development of cyberspace capabilities to validate USCYBERCOM requirements.
• Utilizes automated capabilities to assess risk to DODIN assets.
• Assists in identifying and prioritizing requirements for capability development efforts.
• Analyzes proposed capabilities, recommends COAs, and develops solutions to address areas of concern for shortfalls.
• Develops, maintains, and automates metrics to assess USCYBERCOM operational MOE/MOP.
• Develops concept papers, technical white papers, and related documentation detailing cyber security practices for implementation throughout DOD.
• Conducts research focusing on emerging cyber threats and drafts countermeasure assessments.

Certifications: Minimum DOD 8140/DOD 8570 IAM Level II Certification, CSSP Incident Responder, or CSSP Infrastructure Support.

Job Description (Six years Required):

• Assesses the development of cyberspace capabilities to validate USCYBERCOM requirements.
• Utilizes automated capabilities to assess risk to DODIN assets.
• Assists in identifying and prioritizing requirements for capability development efforts.
• Analyzes proposed capabilities, recommends COAs, and develops solutions to address areas of concern for shortfalls.
• Develops, maintains, and automates metrics to assess USCYBERCOM operational Measure of Effective and Performance (MOE/MOP).
• Develops concept papers, technical white papers, and related documentation detailing cyber security practices for implementation throughout DOD.
• Conducts research that focuses on rapidly emerging cyber threats and cyber adversary TTPs and drafts countermeasure assessments based on threats.
• Collaborates with internal and external partners to facilitate cyber-SA and information sharing.
