Job summary

OCH Technologies, LLC is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to sustain scanning infrastructure, build sandbox/test environments, and evaluate tools for FAA approval. The role supports assessment and pen-testing teams, with travel up to 25% and hybrid work at WJHTC Egg Harbor, NJ or ATCSCC Washington, DC.

Responsibilities include developing environments, maintaining tools, and producing technical evaluations against FAA requirements. On-site support and multi-center collaboration are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics.
• 8+ years in cybersecurity or security operations engineering in federal/critical infrastructure environments.
• Experience administering vulnerability scanning platforms (Nessus, WebInspect).
• Experience building and managing isolated test/simulation environments.
• Understanding of network architecture, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and segmentation.
• Scripting/automation in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

Responsibilities

• Design, prepare, and maintain sandboxing and simulation test environments for pentesting and red/blue team exercises.
• Maintain vulnerability scanning infrastructure including Nessus, WebInspect, and related platforms.
• Test and evaluate equipment against FAA cybersecurity requirements.
• Evaluate NAS edge devices and produce written evaluation reports.
• Identify and evaluate emerging cybersecurity tools for potential adoption.
• Coordinate scanning schedules with system owners.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for test environments and SOPs.
• Support monitoring tool deployment and detection rule development.
• Provide on-site support during assessment events.
