Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems in San Diego, CA seeks a Cybersecurity Systems Engineer (Principal or Sr. Principal) to assess software/hardware for vulnerabilities, develop automation for cybersecurity processes, and investigate complex issues within Systems Engineering.

Responsibilities include vulnerability scanning, STIG verifications, and generating artifacts for Air Force authorization decisions. Roles may be Level 2/3 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field with 5+ years of relevant military/professional experience (level 3).
• Bachelor's degree in STEM with 8+ years (level 4).
• Must have experience in Cybersecurity and the ability to obtain/maintain U.S. government clearance.

Responsibilities

• Solve complex cybersecurity problems.
• Assess software static code analysis results.
• Perform Cybersecurity Impact Appraisals/Evaluations on hardware/software projects.
• Generate and maintain artifacts for Air Force authorization decisions.
• Conduct system vulnerability scans using ACAS and STIGs.
• Verify STIG/SRG across equipment types.
