The Test Group Cybersecurity office is seeking a contractor System Administrator to support 300+ air-gapped, stand-alone systems, ensuring continuous monitoring and operational readiness. Direct hands-on interaction is required monthly due to isolated assets.

The role involves off-line antivirus updates, vulnerability patching, security checks, and general administration to maintain compliance and mission integrity, with a Secret clearance required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field required or substitution described below.
• IM1/IM2/IM3 correspond to different substitution options described in the posting.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Sustain continuous monitoring and operational readiness across 300+ air-gapped systems.
• Perform off-line antivirus updates, vulnerability patching and security checks monthly on each asset.
• Support system deployments and general administration to maintain compliance and mission integrity.

Job description

The Test Group Cybersecurity office requires one (1) contractor System Administrator to sustain continuous monitoring and operational readiness across 300+ air-gapped, stand‑alone systems. Because these isolated assets cannot leverage automated patching or remote maintenance tools, every computer requires direct, hands‑on interaction at least monthly—a workload that exceeds the capacity of the current single System Administrator. Adding this contractor position provides the necessary dedicated support to execute off‑line anti‑virus updates, vulnerability patching, security control spot‑checks, system deployments, and general administration, ensuring full compliance with cybersecurity mandates and maintaining mission system integrity.

Minimum Education

• IM1 - Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field OR substitution as described below.
