Job summary

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Office of Information Security (OIS) seeks an IT Cybersecurity Specialist to strengthen the security posture of VA IT systems and protect Veteran data. You will help deliver enterprise-wide strategy, policy, governance, and cyber defense in collaboration with VA and OIT.

Responsibilities include evaluating risks, supporting RMF activities, and presenting findings to senior leadership, while safeguarding privacy and trust for Veterans and their families.
