Duck River Electric Membership Corporation (DREMC) seeks an IT Cybersecurity Specialist to protect critical systems and data, monitor security posture, and drive continuous improvement across networks, endpoints, and cloud services. You will implement controls, coordinate risk assessments, and lead incident response efforts.

The role emphasizes collaboration with internal IT teams, external vendors, and auditors, with a focus on aligning security measures to NIST CSF and CIS Controls.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and five years of cybersecurity experience.
• 13 years of experience allowed in lieu of formal education.
• Industry certifications preferred (Security+, CISSP, CISM, CEH).

Responsabilidades

• Plan, implement, and improve cybersecurity controls across networks, systems, and cloud services.
• Monitor security tools to detect and respond to threats and incidents.
• Administer security technologies: firewalls, IAM, EDR, vulnerability tools, logs.
• Conduct risk and vulnerability assessments; coordinate remediation with IT and vendors.
• Develop and enforce security policies and procedures aligned with best practices.
• Support incident response, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
