Job summary

Interclypse, Inc. is seeking a seasoned IT security professional to join our Maryland team supporting state agencies. You will help design secure architectures, migrate legacy systems to modern platforms, and document security designs under senior architects.

Required: Bachelor's in CS/Cybersecurity or related field, at least five years in IT with three in cybersecurity, and two years contributing to security designs across networks, apps, or cloud. On-site work at Maryland locations.

Qualifications

• Five or more years in information technology, with a minimum of three years in cybersecurity.
• Experience contributing to security designs for networks, applications or cloud security.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing security architectures and migrate legacy systems to modern platforms.
• Document security designs under guidance of senior architects.
• Collaborate with Maryland state agencies to implement secure solutions.

Interclypse is supporting several Maryland state agencies in the modernization and sustainment of critical systems. All positions are required to be on‑site at various locations in Maryland.

Position Summary: Assists in developing business, data, systems, and infrastructure models to create secure enterprise architectures. Helps develop plans for migrating legacy systems to modern platforms and documents security designs under the guidance of senior architects.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related technical discipline

General Experience: At least five (5) years of experience in information technology, with at least three (3) of those years in a cybersecurity-focused role.

Specialized Experience: At least two (2) years of experience contributing to the design of security solutions in areas such as network, application, or cloud security.
