Job summary

PNC is seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Engineering Solution Architect to lead the design and implementation of robust security solutions across cloud and on-prem environments. You will develop cybersecurity architectures, conduct risk assessments, and guide cross-functional teams in security best practices.

The role requires experience in security architecture, strong networking knowledge, and the ability to create architecture diagrams, BPMN/ UML artifacts, and collaborate with Enterprise

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
• Relevant certifications such as Security+, CEH, CISSP or equivalent preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in security architecture, engineering, or related fields preferred.
• Proven experience designing and implementing security solutions in complex environments.
• Strong networking experience to design resilient network solutions with MPLS, SDN, and Zero Trust.

Responsibilities

• Design cybersecurity architectures for cloud and on-prem environments.
• Implement security controls to protect data, applications, and infrastructure.
• Perform architecture assessments for compliance with requirements and guidance.
• Develop mitigation strategies and improve security posture.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security best practices.
• Serve as SME in cybersecurity architecture and risk mitigation.
• Create architecture artifacts and diagrams (UML, BPMN, flowcharts).
• Engage vendors and SMEs to ensure standards and expectations are met.
• Provide cross-functional support on solution architecture updates.
• Design roadmaps aligning with business strategies and processes.
