Job summary

MITRE is seeking a Technical Project Leader for the National Cybersecurity Federated Funded Research and Development Center (NCF) with expertise in Super Intelligence task oversight. You will drive execution across SI projects, manage sponsors' priorities with NIST, and lead a diverse team to deliver high-impact R&D solutions that advance national objectives.

The role requires strong technical leadership, project management, and the ability to build trusted relationships with government sponsors

Qualifications

Minimum 10 years of related experience with a bachelor’s, 8 years with a master’s, or 5 years with a PhD.
Experience running projects/programs with accountability for delivery and budget.
Strong project/program management and leadership skills.
Ability to engage sponsors and manage diverse technical teams.

Responsibilities

Serve as the division’s primary leader for SI-related sponsor engagement and work program development/execution.
Identify opportunities to help sponsors with difficult problems and shape new tasks.
Assess technical risks and inform program strategies and investments.
Own strategic planning, quality assurance, contract administration, budgeting, and execution.
Provide SI thought leadership and manage the technical work program.
Collaborate with managers and engineers to staff projects and develop staff.
