The successful candidate will work with Windows, Microsoft 365, and AD environments, perform risk assessments, and contribute to IT audits while traveling up to 20%. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

We currently have an exciting career opportunity for an Experienced Associate to join the Cybersecurity & Digital Trust team in our Risk Advisory practice. Due to the nature of this role, this position is considered on‑site which means it must be consistently performed at an assigned CohnReznick office location and requires daily commute to the office location.

OUR ROLE

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• You will be part of our Cybersecurity, Technology Risk and Privacy team utilizing your technical knowledge to work as part of our client services team on various stages of engagements or projects.
• You will perform Level 1 user support through Server Administration services for our clients.
• Once you have mastered and demonstrated success in this role, you will have the ability to expand your career into other parts of our practice, conducting cybersecurity and data privacy risk assessments, remediating security flaws, implementing cybersecurity products and performing IT audits.
• The job involves working in varying environments with occasional travel out of town (20% average), sometimes with short notice. Occasional domestic and possibly international travel may be involved. Government security clearance is not required but a private background check and screening will be conducted.

YOUR EXPERIENCE

The successful candidate will have:

• Outgoing personality with good interpersonal skills and the ability to interact positively with clients.
• 1-3 years experience providing IT support, preferably with a Managed Service Provider (MSP).
• Experience supporting Microsoft Windows, Windows Server and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Good problem solving skills, attention to detail and ability to learn quickly.
• Strong work ethic and desire to meet client demands.
• Follows established processes and procedures.
• Strong business writing and communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a dynamic team environment.

Our ideal candidate will also have the following:

• Previous consulting experience.
• Experienced self-starter and problem solver that can work well independently as well as within a team.
• Experience in networking, Windows desktop/server administration, Microsoft 365, MS Exchange, and Active Directory in a multi-server environment.
• Relevant security and/or cloud certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator, Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer, AWS Cloud Practitioner, etc.
• Bachelor's degree or higher nice to have, but not required.

In Virginia, the salary range for a Advisory Associate is $70,000 to $100,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
