Job summary

OP in Plano, TX seeks a Technology & Cybersecurity Risk Management Engineer to analyze risks, perform assessments, and drive risk-based decisions across projects. You will apply NIST, COBIT, and ISO frameworks to identify and document risk, map to controls, and prepare executive-ready reports.

Collaboration with Control Owners and stakeholders is essential, as is clear communication and meticulous documentation. ServiceNow, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint proficiency is beneficial here.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in cybersecurity or technology risk management, IT risk, or compliance.
• Foundational understanding of cybersecurity principles and risk assessment methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct risk intake, assessments, triage sessions, and stakeholder risk discussions.
• Assess risks using NIST, COBIT, and ISO frameworks.
• Identify and document inherent, residual, and emerging risks.
• Review controls and evaluate their effectiveness.
• Map risks to controls and framework requirements.
• Facilitate risk discussions with control owners and stakeholders.
• Document risk statements, controls, and results in governance tools.
• Develop risk treatment recommendations and track remediation.
• Escalate overdue actions and significant risks.
• Prepare executive-ready risk reports and dashboards.
