Job summary

Guidehouse in Washington, DC seeks a Cyber Consulting professional to support a premier law enforcement agency's cybersecurity compliance program for the CISO, focusing on modernizing the Cybersecurity program. You will coordinate with project divisions, advise the CISO and CIO, and develop executive briefings, dashboards, and status reports for leadership in a on-site, high-security environment.

The role requires 8+ years of experience, TS clearance, and ability to lead bi-weekly PMR sessions

Qualifications

  • Active and maintained Top Secret clearance required.
  • Bachelor's degree (waived with 10+ years experience).
  • 8+ years of overall work experience.
  • Experience in cybersecurity.
  • Program/Project Management experience in multifactor authentication, enterprise logging, and executive reporting.
  • Stakeholder engagement experience.
  • On-site 5x per week in Washington, DC.
  • US Citizenship required.

What You Will Do:

The consultant will support a premier law enforcement agency's cybersecurity compliance program for the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) focused on modernizing their Cybersecurity program. The Cybersecurity consultant coordinates with different project-implementing divisions and sections, provides oversight of cybersecurity programs and initiatives to the client’s leadership, advises the CISO and Chief Information Officer (CIO) on cybersecurity programs and activities, and provides recommendations to leadership on Cybersecurity portfolio prioritization. The consultant will provide program management support, planning capabilities and business process analysis and assist with developing briefing materials and executive level presentations to support project status briefings. The consultant will also assist leadership and leaderships’ team leads with the facilitation, preparation, and execution of bi-weekly Program Management Review (PMR) sessions with executive leadership and provide input for monthly performance dashboards.

What You Will Need:
  • An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED Top Secret Federal or DoD security clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university. Educational requirement may be waived if the candidate has ten (10)+ years of experience.
  • Eight (8)+ years of overall work experience.
  • Experience working in cybersecurity.
  • Program/Project Management experience in multifactor authentication initiatives, enterprise logging programs, executive order compliance, CISA binding operational directives and executive level reporting.
  • Stakeholder engagement experience.
  • Available to be on site 5x per week in Washington, DC.
  • US Citizenship is contractually required.
What Would Be Nice To Have:
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong proficiency with creating executive level presentations and briefings
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity programs and concepts including but not limited to: zero trust, multifactor authentication, enterprise logging, etc.
  • Department of Justice experience a plus

The annual salary range for this position is $113,000.00-$188,000.00.

Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
