Job summary

Ares Management is seeking a Program Manager for the Cybersecurity and IT teams. You will collaborate across technology and security groups, prioritize and coordinate multiple projects, and report on status, health, risks, and accomplishments to align with strategic goals.

The role requires 5+ years in PM, familiarity with CSF controls, budgeting, and experience with Jira, Confluence, and Smartsheet. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a program and project management or project delivery role.
• Knowledge of technology projects and program management concepts from planning through support.
• Experience implementing program strategies, overseeing collaboration, and defining success metrics.
• Proficient with risk and conflict management.
• Experience developing programs, resource plans, timelines, and roadmaps.
• Experience with Agile methods and tools such as Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet.
• Experience with IT leadership coordination and CSF familiarity.
• Experience with budgeting, tracking, and forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Understand organization goals and organize programs aligned with mission.
• Identify and organize priority technology projects into a central program.
• Prioritize projects to support Cybersecurity, IT, and business objectives.
• Implement project review and onboarding processes with impact analysis.
• Develop evaluation methods to assess program strengths and improvements.
• Ensure exit criteria and reporting on status, health, risks, and progress.
• Lead reporting to stakeholders and manage changes to achieve goals.
• Produce timely program status reports throughout life cycle.
• Mentor project managers and team leads in cybersecurity domains.
• Collaborate with CISO on cyber maturity strategy and remediation workstreams.
• Create documents to drive clear objectives and track progress.
