Job summary

Global Channel Managementinc is seeking a Cybersecurity Program Manager in Chattanooga, TN to oversee the delivery of ongoing cyber projects, define and execute initiatives, and manage budgets, schedules and performance for success.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of IT or cyber portfolio leadership, certifications, experience with Agile, Jira, regulated environments, and the ability to navigate ambiguity in a matrix organization.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of IT or cyber portfolio management experience.
• PMI or PRINCE2 certification required.
• Proven experience with Scrum/Agile and JIRA.
• Familiarity with cyber security in regulated environments.
• Experience delivering technical projects.
• Experience applying agile, scrum, and waterfall methods.
• Ability to manage portfolio and program governance.
• Experience creating and managing time, cost, and schedule estimates.
• Comfort working in a matrix organization.
• Proactive risk identification and mitigation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee delivery of ongoing cyber projects.
• Define, initiate, and execute projects; manage budget, schedule, and performance.
• Ensure project execution plans are established and followed.
• Manage risks and issues across the program and take corrective actions.
• Lead program events, briefings, and stakeholder communications.
• Report on program performance to multiple levels of management.
• Manage annual budgets, contracts, and acquisition activities.
• Support enterprise cyber program management and governance structures.

About the job Cybersecurity Program Manager

Cybersecurity Program Manager needs 10 or more years of managing information technology or cyber portfolio

Cybersecurity Program Manager requires:

• Certified by a major project management body such as PMI or PRINCE2

• Experience in Scrum and Agile and expertise in JIRA

• Familiarity with the role of cyber security in a regulated environment

• Experience delivering technical projects.

• Ability to utilize various project methodologies to include agile, scrum, and waterfall

• Ability to implement good practices for portfolio and program management

• Ability to create and manage time, cost, and schedule estimates

• Ability to successfully perform position responsibilities in a matrix organization

• Ability to identify and take the initiative to address challenges before they become project risks

• Ability to handle ambiguity and make decisions and recommendations with limited data

• Solid analytical/problem-solving skills with capability to identify solutions to unusual and complex problems

Cybersecurity Program Manager duties:

• Oversee the project delivery of on-going cyber projects
• Define, initiate, and executes projects; and work to manage the budget, schedule, and performance of projects while working to ensure ultimate success and acceptance of the project.
