National University invites applications for a Full-time Assistant or Associate Professor, or Professor of Practice and Academic Program Director (APD) in B.S. Cybersecurity.

The APD leads strategy, operations, and curriculum for the degree program and collaborates with faculty and administration to ensure program quality and student success. The ideal candidate will have hands-on knowledge of Linux, Windows, and cybersecurity tools, plus a minimum of 2+ years of industry experience and relevant

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Cybersecurity or related discipline.
• Terminal degree in Cybersecurity or related discipline.
• 5+ years of full-time faculty experience in higher education.
• 10+ years of professional experience with 3+ years teaching/training experience.
• 2+ years of industry experience in cybersecurity.
• Industry certifications such as CISSP, SANS GIAC, CEH, CISM, CISA.
• Leadership or program management experience preferred.
• Experience with NSA Centers of Academic Excellence programs preferred.
• Active involvement in the cybersecurity community preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach and develop online and onsite cybersecurity courses.
• Maintain expertise and update course material.
• Create a positive learning environment for diverse learners.
• Ensure program practices meet accreditation standards.
• Adhere to academic integrity policy.
• Maintain a productive scholarship agenda.
