Job summary

Freedom Technology Solutions Groups is seeking a Cybersecurity Operations Specialist to provide 24x7x365 CSOC Tier 2/3 services, including containment, eradication, and recovery actions for cyber incidents. Focus areas include malware analysis, incident handling, and forensics, under Government direction.

Responsibilities include coordinating response activities, building timelines and reports, and ensuring proper escalation and reporting in JIMS/ICMS systems, with DoD 8140.01/8570.01-M

Qualifications

• Requires DoD 8140.01 and DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II/CSSP Incident Responder compliance or ability to obtain within six months.
• Active TS/SCI clearance, polygraph ability.
• Bachelor's degree or 6 years in Cyber Security (CSOS)

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement incident response tasks and containment actions.
• Document actions and analysis in ticketing and reporting systems (JIMS/ICMS).
• Develop indicators of compromise and collaborate with NGA/contractors.
