Job summary

Hillwood in Dallas, TX seeks a Manager of Cybersecurity Operations to lead and mature the enterprise cybersecurity function. The ideal candidate will be accountable for monitoring, incident response, and vulnerability management while building a high-performing team.

This role involves defining the operations roadmap and collaborating with IT leadership. Candidates should have strong technical depth and leadership capabilities, with experience in cybersecurity operations and team management.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity operations, incident response, or security engineering.
• 2+ years of experience leading, mentoring, or managing a team.
• Experience producing executive-level security communications and incident briefings.

Responsibilities

• Lead cybersecurity operations execution across all Hillwood business divisions.
• Define and execute the cybersecurity operations roadmap.
• Manage daily priorities and team performance across monitoring and incident response.

SIEM administration and detection engineering

EDR/XDR investigation and response

Identity and access management / IGA platforms

Vulnerability management

Cloud security (Azure, M365)
