Job summary

Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare in Memphis seeks a seasoned cybersecurity leader to oversee Security Operations, including design and maintenance of security architecture, monitoring, and incident response. Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer sciences or related field required.
  • 3–5 years designing, deploying, managing cybersecurity solutions.
  • 3–5 years information security experience.
  • CompTIA Security+ certification required.
  • Clinical knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage Security Operations team.
  • Design, implement, and maintain security strategies for network, infrastructure, and endpoints.
  • Develop metrics and reports to show cybersecurity service quality and risk reduction.
  • Evaluate and recommend information-security hardware/software; support security investments.
  • Analyze and assess incidents and escalate per incident plan.
  • Develop corrective and remediation actions to reduce exploitation risk.
  • Other duties assigned by management.

Oversee and manage the installation, implementation, administration, monitoring, and maintenance of all security architecture technology solutions. A Brief Overview

What you will do
  • Lead and manage Security Operations team.
  • Manage the design, implementation, and maintenance of network, infrastructure, and endpoint security strategies and solutions.
  • Develop and present metrics and reports to ensure the quality of the cybersecurity services are meeting business objectives and reducing risk.
  • Research, evaluate and recommend information-security related hardware and software to maintain a strong security posture, including assisting the Director with developing business cases for security investments.
  • Analyze, and assess security incidents that occur to MLH assets and escalte incidents by following incident plan.
  • Develop and execute corrective action plans and remediation plans when issues are identified in order to mitigate the risk of exploitation.
  • Other duties assigned by management.

  • Required - Bachelor's Degree Computer sciences
  • Preferred - Associates Degree
  • Preferred - Bachelor's Degree Business Administration/Management

Supervision Provided by this Position
  • Supervises Associates, contractors and vendors.
Physical Demands
  • The physical activities of this position may include climbing, pushing, standing, hearing, walking, reaching, grasping, kneeling, stooping, and repetitive motion.
  • Must have good balance and coordination.The physical requirements of this position are: light work - exerting up to 25 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 10 lbs. of force frequently.
  • The Associate is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity, such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; or extensive reading.
  • The conditions to which the Associate will be subject in this position: The Associate is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions; job functions are typically performed under conditions such as those found in general office or administrative work.
  • Frequent travel between various MLH Facilities and locations.
  • The Associate has 24 hours accountability for assigned area.
