Job summary

OTR Engineered Solutions is seeking a Cybersecurity Operations Engineer to strengthen the organization’s security posture. You will design, implement, and maintain controls across cloud, endpoint, and collaboration platforms, leading monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management, and AI-assisted automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or IT-related field or equivalent
• 5+ years of cybersecurity, security operations, system administration, or cloud security experience
• Experience with enterprise Microsoft environments and security platforms

Responsibilities

• Monitor, investigate, and respond to cybersecurity alerts generated by Arctic Wolf, Microsoft security platforms, Proofpoint, and other tools.
• Participate in security incident response activities including containment, eradication, recovery, and root cause analysis.
• Administer and secure Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) environments.
• Implement and maintain Conditional Access, MFA, Identity Protection, and Identity Governance controls.
• Manage Microsoft Intune for Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android devices and enforce security compliance.
• Utilize NinjaOne for endpoint monitoring, remote management, patching, and asset administration.
• Secure and administer Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business and Teams; administer Proofpoint email security.
• Develop PowerShell scripts to automate security, user administration, and compliance processes.
• Investigate phishing, spoofing, and BEC incidents; support security audits and risk assessments.
