Qualifications

• 2+ years of cybersecurity, SOC operations, or managed security services.
• Experience with MDR providers or managed security environments.
• Strong understanding of incident response processes and threat detection.
• Experience developing documentation, runbooks, or operational processes.
• Ability to communicate technical security issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience with Microsoft Security tools, CrowdStrike, Palo Alto, SentinelOne.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Threat Monitoring and Incident Response: monitor security tools, investigate alerts, and document findings.
• MDR Customer and Partner Interface: act as primary interface between customers, MDR providers, and internal teams; coordinate responses.
• Vulnerability and Risk Management: perform assessments and coordinate remediation.
• Security Operations and Tooling: maintain and tune SIEM, EDR, firewalls, IDS/IPS; analyze logs for threats.
• Process Development and Runbooks: develop SOPs and incident playbooks; create repeatable workflows.
• Training and Enablement: build security awareness and deliver tool/process training.
• Governance, Compliance, and Documentation: support policies and participate in audits (ISO27001, NIST, SOC 2, CMMC).
• Continuous Improvement: stay current with threats and improve security posture.
