Job summary

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) seeks qualified individuals to become special agents. This position directly supports national security by investigating cyber threats, terrorism, fraud, and other crimes, using your technical and analytical background.

Candidates must be a U.S. citizen, able to obtain a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information clearance, hold a bachelor’s degree, and be willing to travel.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen required.
• Must be able to obtain Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• Bachelor's degree or higher from a U.S. accredited institution.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct investigations of potential violations of federal laws, cybersecurity, and public safety.
• Exercise judgment, resourcefulness, and versatility in meeting investigative demands.
• Create and maintain liaison relationships with federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and international law enforcement agencies.
• Maintain physical fitness to perform law enforcement duties.
