Job summary

Darkwolfsolutions is seeking a Cybersecurity Lead/Information System Security Manager (ISSM) to establish a robust security posture for government systems. This hybrid role supports operations from Herndon, VA or Colorado Springs, CO, requiring experience as an ISSM or Sr. ISSO, and relevant cybersecurity certifications.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in risk management frameworks and specific cloud security tools, along with at least a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field. The position offers a competitive salary range between $150,000.00 and $165,000.00, based on experience and skills.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience as an ISSM or 7 years as a Sr. ISSO.
• Proficient in enforcing information protection policies.
• Active U.S. Citizenship with Top Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Establish a robust security posture for a government information system.
• Act as primary security advisor to PM, AO, and ISO.
• Oversee ISSO Team compliance with security requirements.

Risk Management Framework expertise

SIEM tools (Splunk, Sentinel, ELK Stack, Crowdstrike)

Infrastructure and Cloud Security tools (Terraform, Ansible, Github)

Cybersecurity certifications (CASP+ CE, CSSLP, CISSP)
