Job summary

Mercor seeks a Legal Expert to lead data privacy and cybersecurity tasks on a remote contract basis. You will review benchmark content and adjudicate commentary to ensure accuracy and compliance.

You will analyze data processing agreements, consent design, cross-border transfers, and incident response reviews across many documents, working independently to meet deadlines and improve task quality.

Responsibilities

• Review published legal-benchmark tasks in data privacy and cybersecurity .
• Adjudicate public commentary against task prompts and grading rubrics.
• Complete structural quality control across prompts, rubrics, and attached source documents.
• Analyze data processing agreements, consent and notice design, and cross-border transfer analysis.
• Conduct incident response reviews, each involving 10-100 source documents.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet project deadlines and improve task quality.
