Job summary

Encore Talent Solutions has partnered with a client in the Columbus, OH area to identify an IT Project Manager for a 12 month+ contract with option to hire. This role requires a HYBRID/ONSITE schedule of Tue/Wed/Thu in office, located in Columbus, OH.

The Cybersecurity Project Manager will guide cross-functional teams using Agile and waterfall methodologies, lead planning, risk mitigation, and stakeholder communication while aligning goals with security requirements and delivering secure

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience as IT project manager.
• Experience leading IT and business function projects.
• Experience managing large complex projects with mixed labor/non-labor costs.
• Knowledge of PM best practices including waterfall, agile, and SDLC.
• Strong leadership with ability to coach and lead diverse teams.
• Experience engaging executive sponsors and stakeholders.
• Experience in cost management and capacity planning.
• Knowledge of Business Process Analysis and Mapping.
• Experience with change management in projects.
• Experience in indirect management and training of team members.
• Familiarity with Energy Industry is a plus.
• Bachelor's Degree in CS, MIS, Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Guide cross-functional cybersecurity teams using Agile and waterfall methods.
• Lead project planning, stakeholder communication, and risk mitigation.
• Deliver secure solutions on time and within budget.
• Manage full project lifecycles using Agile, Waterfall or Iterative approaches.
• Produce Charters, SDDs, and Technical Documentation.
• Support vendor progress management and SOW development.
• Communicate with non-technical clients and stakeholders.
