Meritus Health seeks an IT Manager – Cybersecurity to lead enterprise-wide security design, implementation, and governance. The role emphasizes risk management, incident response, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with IT and external partners to reinforce defenses across networks, applications, and infrastructure.

The candidate will mentor engineers, drive audits, and ensure adherence to HIPAA, PCI, and NIST standards while maintaining resilient patient care and operational continuity.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years in cybersecurity, network, or server roles
• Experience creating and maintaining NIST documentation
• 3 years of leadership experience preferred
• Knowledge of SIEM, cloud security, and disaster recovery
• Experience analyzing scan results and remediation

Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise cybersecurity solutions and procedures
• Lead incident response and remediation for systems and infrastructure
• Collaborate with MSPs to review corrective action plans
• Coordinate risk assessments for HIPAA, PCI, and Meaningful Use
• Conduct phishing simulations and support compliance initiatives
• Develop and maintain security policies aligned with NIST standards
• Review configurations to ensure integrity and compliance
• Provide audit reports and support investigations
• Guide secure configuration of servers, firewalls, VPNs, IPS, routers, switches
• Analyze scan results and document exceptions or false positives
• Manage eradication and recovery steps in incident responses
• Coordinate with IT operations and development teams on security
• Mentor junior security engineers and foster collaboration
