Job summary

Centene Corp. is offering a Cybersecurity Summer 2027 Intern position for undergraduate students. You will explore cybersecurity domains across governance, risk, and operations while contributing to hands-on projects.

You will learn from security professionals, participate in training, and communicate progress to mentors and management in a supportive healthcare environment. This role provides exposure to multiple cybersecurity areas within a leading managed care organization.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited university or college, preferably in a field related to the hiring department through the internship period.
• Exposure to cybersecurity concepts and willingness to learn across multiple domains (Security Operations, IAM, GRC, threat detection) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Learn about various cybersecurity processes and functions within the Managed Care industry.
• Contribute to projects across Cybersecurity, Information Security, Risk Management, Threat Detection, Security Operations, Identity & Access Management, GRC, and Security Awareness.
• Communicate project status and results to staff mentors and management.
• Attend training and development presentations to enhance professional competencies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
